Benjamin is a financial industry veteran with experience in multiple markets and asset management.  In addition to his role at Cathay, he has been a Partner at Chenavari Investment Managers (credit asset management) since April 2018 where he is responsible for the Leveraged Finance group as well as overseeing the CTO group.

Formerly, Benjamin was at BNP Paribas for 10 years across various roles including as Global Head of Credit and Global Co-Head of Primary and Credit Markets. This group includes primary markets, credit flow, structured credit and securitisation globally. Previously, he was Global Head of Structured Credit Trading at Bank of America between 2004 and 2008, Global Head of Credit Structuring and Trading at Calyon (the corporate and investment bank of the Crédit Agricole Group)and Head of Structured Products for La Poste, one of the largest retail players in France.

Benjamin has been a Board Member of ISDA (International Swap and Derivatives Association) since 2016. He is a graduate of “Ecole Normale Supérieure” (ENS Ulm 91, Corps des Mines) and holds a postgraduate degree (DEA) as well as a Ph.D. in Mathematics. He is also a lecturer (“Agrégation”) for several financial schools.
