Data-wrangling cloud service Trifacta raised a $100 million funding round, as its user growth soared three times higher and its revenue doubled in the past year, the company said Thursday.
The San Francisco-based company, which uses machine learning to help companies save money by using knowledge workers and data analysts to clean and structure data versus relying on more highly-skilled technology workers, said it plans to use the proceeds from the funding to accelerate its geographic expansion, tap into new industry markets and launch new products.
