She focuses on the firm’s activities across the DACH region. She joined Cathay in August 2025, bringing a blend of strategic, operational, and investing experience across multiple industries and geographies.

Before Cathay Innovation, Katharina held senior roles in corporate development and strategic innovation, including VP of Strategy at ProSiebenSat.1, where she led investment and value-creation initiatives, and Chief of Staff at Allianz Global Investors, supporting strategic initiatives across global operations. She also gained investing experience at Danone Ventures in New York and worked hands-on across M&A, post-merger integration, restructuring, marketing, IT system integrations, and operational execution.
