She is responsible for building and managing Cathay’s unique ecosystem across China as well as participating in screening, evaluation, execution and monitoring of investments. Mi has 13 years of experience in investment, corporate strategy, business incubation, post investment management, strategic M&A and post-merger integration in mainland China.

Prior to joining Cathay, Mi was an Investment Director at PingAn Global Voyage Fund (“GVF”) where she focused on China’s healthcare and fintech sectors while leading the post-investment management team. During her time At GVF, Mi assisted the portfolio by assisting offshore companies with setting up their businesses in China and sat on the board of various companies. Prior to GVF, she was a Senior Director of Strategy and Investments for PingAn’s healthcare and fintech business units where she focused on ecosystem building and incubated several businesses.

Mi has also worked for VIP.com where she oversaw investment, corporate strategy and business incubation after starting her career at Deloitte as a Senior M&A and Tax Adviser. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Applied Mathematics from Tsinghua University and received her MBA from INSEAD.
